LINDT & Sprüngli is set to team up with Dufry for the exclusive launch of a new flavour in two bestselling ranges. Ever-popular LINDOR balls and LINDT’s timeless favourite, individually-wrapped assorted Napolitains, will both be available with a new and exclusive Stracciatella flavour, called Heavenly LINDOR and Heavenly Naps, coming from ‘Chocolate Heaven’ in Switzerland and especially developed for Dufry.
This new venture will bring passengers a unique travel retail offer, creating value in a discount, promotion-driven campaign that unites two major players in travel retail – LINDT and Dufry. It will be the first global Dufry campaign by LINDT.
LINDT will present two best-sellers – each in the new exclusive Stracciatella flavour and supported by an engaging promotional package. Heavenly LINDOR will be available in an assorted 397 g LINDOR Tube, while the Heavenly Assorted Napolitains will be presented in a 500 g carrier box. Both contain the exclusive flavour Stracciatella, a combination of creamy white chocolate with slivers of dark cocoa, inspired by the classic Italian gelato flavour.
These exclusive products – exclusive to Dufry – will be promoted together at airports all around the globe, including locations such as Zurich, London, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Stockholm, Brazil, Argentina. Each airport will feature unique POS displays with the LINDT Master Chocolatier plus location-specific tailor made POS communication material, designed to create maximum visual impact in shopping areas and entice consumers to buy. In addition, an attractive Mix & Match Bag has been developed to drive ticket value. This exclusive concept will run for one year.
The campaign is supported by a Dufry staff reward programme in which the best performing Dufry sales team will be given the opportunity to travel to ‘Chocolate Heaven’ – the world’s highest LINDT Chocolate shop, located 3,454m above sea-level at the Jungfraujoch in Switzerland. Other appealing prizes can be won on a monthly basis.
