Pre-registration has opened for the third TFWA China’s Century Conference, held in partnership with APTRA. A busy conference programme will offer duty free and travel retail professionals invaluable insight and in-depth analysis into the Chinese market and its consumers. It will be complemented by a carefully tailored social agenda that will ensure there are plenty of opportunities for networking.

“This year’s programme will explore the latest infrastructure developments and commercial opportunities in China, while also charting the development of Chinese consumer preferences and the forces shaping and disrupting retail in the country,” said TFWA president Erik Juul-Mortensen. “With contributions from prominent airport, airline and retail stakeholders such as Shanghai Airport Authority, DFS Group, China Southern Airlines, Lagardère Travel Retail, HNA Group, Xiamen Airport, King Power Group (HK), Starboard Cruise Services and more, the debate will doubtless be well-informed as well as lively.”

The official host of the event will be Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Co. Official sponsors include DFS Group, who will host the gala dinner on Wednesday and platinum sponsor Lagardère Travel Retail. In addition, Travalo will sponsor delegate gifts, Al Zawarae will sponsor the cocktail reception, Furla will sponsor lunch on Wednesday with Incheon Airport sponsoring the lunch on Thursday, and Lacoste will sponsor the hostess uniforms.

TFWA China’s Century Conference, will be held from 7th to 9th March 2017 in Guangzhou, at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in the city’s Pearl River district. The 2015 event welcomed nearly 400 delegates from the duty free and travel retail industry across China and beyond.
