SSP America Celebrates Opening of Three New Restaurants at PHX

SSP America, a division of SSP Group, a leading operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide, is delighted to announce the opening of three new restaurants at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). The portfolio introduces three locally-based brands with deep, longstanding ties to the Valley of the Sun community.

SSP America’s latest openings are part of the gateway’s $590 million Terminal 3 Modernization Program, which has provided travelers with a more efficient way of getting through the terminal.

Scott Welding, Vice President of Business Development, commented, “As Phoenix Sky Harbor completes its modernization of the newly named John S. McCain III Terminal 3, SSP America is proud to celebrate the opening of its latest collection of locally-based restaurants in the North Concourse. These local favorites will offer passengers a true taste of our region, featuring some of the best local craft beers, Sonoran style Mexican dishes and all-day breakfasts. SSP America is proud to continue our full support of this region’s dynamic culinary community.”

SSP’s openings include:

Ajo Al’s (North Concourse)— Using the freshest ingredients and authentic recipes, Ajo Al’s Mexican Café provides a taste of traditional Mexican cuisine with a modern Sonoran style twist and a casual, fun atmosphere they have been famous for since 1986. With fresh, handcrafted house specialties locals have known and loved for years, Ajo Al’s is the perfect spot to enjoy delicious, handmade Mexican food in Phoenix.

PHX Beer Co. (North Concourse)— PHX Beer Co. is a celebration of craft beer and craft food. Bringing a unique, only in Phoenix experience to Terminal 3, PHX Beer Co. serves up their top-notch local craft brews straight from their local brewery and pairs them with one-of-a-kind made from scratch dishes that make guests wonder why they ever settled for traditional pub fare.

Scramble (North Concourse)— Offering farm fresh, scratch made food served in generous portions, the award-winning, locally-based Scramble brings an all day, highly approachable, fast casual dining experience—putting classic American dishes and one of the Valley’s favorite breakfast menus centerstage. Scramble features a wide ranging menu designed to accommodate a variety of tastes and nutritional needs—starting with, the all-day breakfast.
