TFWA has announced that Michele Miranda has been promoted to TFWA Conference Director.

Michele took over the role from 1st February and is now responsible for overseeing all of TFWA’s prestigious conferences, including TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference and TFWA World Exhibition & Conference.

Having worked at TFWA as Conference Manager since 2015, Michele’s unique portfolio of skills have enriched TFWA events for nearly a decade and will continue to do so as the association marks its 40th anniversary year.

Michele has seen much success working in events throughout her career and has brought her expertise to high-profile functions worldwide for over 20 years.

“I offer my heartfelt congratulations to Michele on her well-deserved promotion. Michele has proven to be an outstanding member of the TFWA team over the past nine years, and has done much to enhance the quality of our conferences, ensuring the participation of some of duty free and travel retail’s most compelling, engaging and knowledgeable speakers. I have no doubt that her enthusiasm, energy and professionalism will stand her in good stead in her new role of Conference Director.”
